Bohannon Family | Augusta Family Photographer

Another high school friend came to me for family pictures! YAAY! I really enjoyed working with Lora and Rusty and their sweet baby girl Ava, who is now 7 months. Lora and Rusty are doing such an amazing job with their baby. I just love seeing her little pictures and videos on IG/FB. Seeing people that I grew up with in this new light will just never get old. Also, I’m SO happy that Rusty’s mom came to the shoot. Although I could tell that Ava is a happy little girl, it was a huuuge help having grandma there to help us get the laughs going!

Anyway, enjoy their pictures!

I love that Ava is wearing these vintage Cowboy Boots! They were her daddy’s when he was her age!

No family members are allowed to come to the shoot without hopping in a few shots!;)LOL!

Suzanne Hart - Omg these are to die for!!! Awesome job what great pictures!! Love them

A precious boy AND a girl…coming right up!

Goodness! I edited these pictures thinking “Dear Lord. If you ever decide to bless me with twins…or even just one sweet baby…pppplease let me look like this during my pregnancy!” Nikita is carrying these babies with so much confidence. I mean, I’m sure she has her moments, but for her and her husband’s maternity session, she sure showed up and blew me away! She’d planted the seed of me shooting her TWIN maternity session months ago…so I’d always thought about cute things we could do, but her session surpassed anything that I saw in my head.

These two were a dream. They trusted me on the location, the time, the props, the everrrrything. The only request they  had was to incorporate the dad-to-be’s job. When she told me he was a firefighter…I thought HECK YEAH! I knew it’d be HOT and different from anything I’d ever done, but again…it turned out so amazing in my opinion. They rocked the shots with that hot gear on like I’m sure no one else could do (or at least they set the bar pretty high)! I’m just loving incorporating a little of my client’s visions + a little of my vision.

On a deeper & personal note, when Nikita saw these images for the first time, she sent me the most thoughtful message that made me tear up and feel so honored and blessed to be a part of these moments for such amazing people!:)Believe me, each and every time I hear such powerful words from my clients and just people in general I humbly think “Really?!” I compare myself so often to photographers that have been doing this for YEARS, but you guys sure push and inspire me to keep on keepin’ on with this photography journey.

Anyway, take a look at these awesome parents-to-be.

I really love the evening sunlight. I’m thinking about just shooting exclusively during the “golden hours” now.

The tops that Baby Girl and Baby Boy will wear home!

I can’t imagine Nikita and Eddie’s excitement…I’m even overly anxious to see their pictures when they make it here!!!:D

Thanks for looking!!!

Anxiously Awaiting Baby McCalla! | Augusta Maternity Photographer

If you’re here, and you follow my Facebook business page, you might already be aware of my admittance for being THAT friend that randomly asks Renee “Soooo when will you and Clint be having a little one?!” I regret that now because I know that these things happen for us all at different ages and stages. I’ve just always seen Renee as a mother…and a darn good one so I was anxious for her.

NOW…I am just so excited that THIS is the season for my friend and her husband. I am  just so excited to see how amazing they will be at this parenting thing. I am just so excited that they chose me to capture this life changing thing that is happening in their lives.

I love them together. So supportive of one another…and so loving. Clint McCalla III (whom I will definitely call Tre) is going to be one blessed little boy to call these two his parentals!

I love your little bump, Renee!

So EASY getting them to have those little in between moments that I always adore. Genuine smiles.

They were my first clients to want to incorporate paint into their session. Clint’s handprints on her bump turned out so cute!

 The Clint’s special signature.

&&& I never got to share these images from Renee and her sister’s session together. I had to sit on them until Renee was a little further along and ready to share her new joy! These make me wish I had a sister to be pregnant with…and go through parenthood with. SO BLESSED THESE TWO ARE FOR THIS EXPERIENCE THEY GET TO SHARE!!!

Aw. “The Boys” are going to be the best of friends. I’m looking forward to some sessions of them together in the future. I meeean, they’ve had sessions together since the womb…they HAVE to have some when they get here!;)

LOL! These are probably my faves! SO them. Janet being craaazy. Renee cracking up to the point of tears!

Thanks for looking!

Jacque Evans Hanna - OMG! I think this was my best maternity shoot of all. I love it…..I guess because I love Janet, Renee, and Clint made it more emotional for me. Great job baby girl! I’m really proud of you. I wish I could have had shots like this when you and your brother were born. I guess I have to give birth to a photography genius in order for someone else to be able to cherish the memories that I couldn’t and what two better ladies. You better start training me to take your pictures!!

A beautiful family on a beautiful day | Lenox Park Family Photographer

What a sweet family of three I had the pleasure of working with. They came up from Augusta for their photo shoot, and totally rocked Lenox Park! Cohen was/is probably the most well behaved one (almost two) year old in the entire world. He did whatever his parents told him to do…even smiled on cue. I learned a valuable lesson during this shoot, tell parents to bring their child’s favorite toys or things that they love. Working with children, you would think that I’d came up with that idea, but nope…it was all Conswala! He rarely separated from his football and I love the shots of him and his trusty little prop.

Happpppy FIRST birthday Taylor! | Augusta Child Photographer

This baby girl will always and forever hold a special place in my heart. She was the verrrrry first newborn that I had the privilege of photographing. She sure did set the bar extremely high. She came out beautiful and she slept so peacefully throughout majority of her shoot.
