My Pey.

Here’s another pretty little face that you should familiarize yourself with. She’s not living in Atlanta right now so I don’t have nearly as many photos of her as I would like, but this is Peyton, my other God daughter. I adore her as much as my other two God kids, Ma’nay and Roman (whom I haven’t had a photoshoot with yet bcus I’m normally too exhausted to pull out my camera after running around after him when I keep him, lol!). I’m sure it’s obvious now that I LOVE kids, but especially these. I take my role as a God mother seriously, which is probably why I have THREE at 24. It is one of my aspirations to always be a positive force in their lives, someone they can look up to and come to with any and every issue they may have in life. I hope to nourish them spiritually, always lead them to God, and shower them with more love than they could ever imagine. No one ever really told me what it means to be a God mother, but that is my interpretation.

I’ve been in Peyton’s ear and in her life with my camera in tow since she was in the womb…up until the very second she came into this world. Yes, I was in the doctor’s office recording her ultra sound saying, “Yes, I HAVE to record this. This is her debut!”, and in delivery room snapping pictures and crying uncontrollably.

Here I was probably saying "Hiiii, MY Peyyyy!" She always gets excited about that!

She’s not sitting up on her own just yet, but we decided to “fake it until we make it”.

Notice her mouth open in a few of these? Well, we always have “girl talk” so unfortunately she wanted to talk instead of just sitting up and looking pretty for the camera.

She’s eating cereal now!

Her feet seem to make the perfect toy.

Have you ever heard of stories about what type of child you were, but thought “Nooo. Not me! Really?!” Welp, I can’t wait to show and tell what a cry baby she was. I mean, every single time she’s been with me I’ve had the opportunity to snap a picture of her screaming crying. LOL! I’m hoping this spoiled phase is something she’ll be growing out of…SOON! Anyway, here are a few of her being a total drama queen!

*DISCLAIMER: She’s never been in my care and crying because her diaper isn’t clean, her tummy is empty, she’s lacking attention. It’s ALWAYS because she wants to be held. She just thinks she’s running the show, and that’s not happening at Meme’s (Mommy Evans).;)

Renee McCalla - She is beautiful, you do capture a lot of great moments

The Powell Family

Jamie was a high school & collegiate classmate of mine. We’ve managed to keep in touch via Facebook, and now she’s married with two beautiful boys, Noah (the little baby) and Hunter (the older baby). Although it was SO hot the boys were such troopers for the photoshoot. I’m really looking forward to shooting the entire family…during the early morning or evening or just on a cooler day.

This is “him”.

Allow me to introduce you to my best friend…aka my boyfriend, Art. We’ve had our ups and downs, but overall this guy has been a blessing. We’ve never really betrayed each other or had an issues that we couldn’t work past, which is a change of pace considering my past relationships. It’s crazy how much we inspire and support each other. I’m so happy  and proud that throughout the few years we’ve known each other we’ve done a lot of growing on so many levels. I am most proud of our spiritual growth. It’s gotten to the point now where he’s so much more than a boyfriend. I think this is the guy that I am  supposed to spend my life with…but we shall see! I’m learning to be patient and just wait. If it’s what God wants…there’s no harm in waiting and doing things on God’s time and not my own. So with that said, my friends…I’ll leave you with a little message (just in case you may need to hear and meditate on it as much as I do)…

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

- Philippians 4: 6-7

Peace & Love.:)

My mommy loves him too!

They were talking trash about how spoiled I am & how Art won't be able to control my shopping habits. Craziness! Hmph.

I told him to laugh & he went into knee slapping laughter. Hey, it worked out!

This is fav.! I seriously laugh every time I see it. We're so goofy! Ahaha!

The Fiffie Family

My cousin Deedee  and her family came to Atlanta to spend Easter weekend with us. She’s in the Army and just recently got stationed back in Georgia! YAAAY! She’s one of my favorites. She’s always been more like a big sister to me so I’m ecstatic that I’ll be seeing more of her and her family. Randomly her and her family had on the same colors soooo of course…I suggested we do a little family shoot. It was a beautiful day so we headed down to Piedmont Park. Deedee’s brother Thurlo, (JR), who’s also like a sibling to me jumped in for a fewpics.

Peace & Love.:)

DeeDee Greenwood-Fiffie - Thanks Farrahn Evans for the opportunity. We had an amazing time. Love you!

My little love, Ma’nay (MJ).

I hope you’ve read my about me section and looked around. I’m SO excited about finally getting the ball rolling with something I’m so passionate about. Now to the photos…. My very first client was none other than my gorgeous God daughter, Ma’nay Jones (MJ). She’s the first child outside of my little brother that I got incredibly attached to. They say there is no love like the love you’ll have for your own children, and that’s a scary thought. I can’t even grasp the idea of loving a child as much as I love MJ. I’m proud of the job we’ve all done with bringing her up thus far. The last time I was around her…I was a little down, and she promised to pray for me. When we’re in the car we both dance and sing to gospel music, and she exclaims, “This is MY sooong!” Seriously, what an amazing spirit she already has! I hope you enjoy looking at this beauty because she’ll be making several appearances here…from now until I am no longer capable of pressing that shutter button!

Peace & Love.:)

This shot is clearly an oldie but goodie. We did this a few years ago with one of my older cameras. I’ve just always loved it! One day I’ll probably do an entire oldie post on MJ. I’ve got soooo many pictures of her…it’s kind of ridiculous!
